Issue - decisions

The Cabinet Member for Economy & Regeneration has: -

(1) Given approval to Proposals A,B,C,D, E, F, H and I as outlined in the report and to the legal advertising of the associated package of Traffic Regulation Orders (as detailed in Appendix C of the report), and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Orders.

(2) Given approval to the advertising of the proposed Permissive Shared Routes (as detailed in Section 6 of Appendix C of the report) and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Orders.

(3) Noted that Proposal G shall be reviewed in light of comments received as part of the consultation to consider potential alternatives, and that those findings will be presented to a future meeting of the relevant area committees following further public engagement.

The Marple and Stepping Hill area committees considered the above proposals and gave their consent to the insofar as they related to Local Distributor and Local Access Roads within their purview.
