The Area Committee has considered the findings of a consultation exercise with local residents with regard to road safety concerns at the junction of Demmings Road and Brookfield Road, Cheadle and approved the introduction of the following Traffic Regulation Order at an approximate cost of £475 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management Delegated Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation):-
Revocation of No Waiting Monday – Friday 8.30am – 9.00am, 11.30am – 2.00pm & 3.15pm – 4.30pm
Demmings Road, Cheadle, west side, from the northerly kerb line of Brookfield Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.
No Waiting at Any Time
Demmings Road, Cheadle, west side, from a point 10 metres south of the southerly kerb line of Brookfield Road to a point 10 metres north of the northerly kerb line of Brookfield Road.
Brookfield Road, Cheadle, both sides, from the westerly kerb line of Demmings Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.
