The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing considered proposals to introduce waiting restrictions at the entrance of Bredbury Parkway Industrial Estate to improve access and egress for Heavy Goods Vehicles, and has approved the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the following Order being made:

Ashton Road (south side)
From a point 10 metres south west of the intersection of the southern kerbline of Bredbury Parkway to a point 50 metres north of the intersection of the northern kerbline of Bredbury Parkway
Bredbury Parkway (North side)
From the intersection of the southern kerbline of Ashton Road for a distance of 249.5 metres in a south easterly direction
Bredbury Parkway (South side)
From the intersection of the north eastern kerbline of Ashton Road for a distance of 248 metres in a south easterly direction
Corrie Way (South side)
From a point 10 metres west of the intersection of the western kerbline of Latham Close to a point 10 metres east of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Latham Close.
Latham Close (Both sides)
From the intersection of the southern kerbline of Corrie Way in a southerly direction for its entirety, including the turning circle.
Bredbury Parkway (West side)
From a point 10 metres north at the intersection of the northern kerbline of Southside for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction

The Werneth Area Committee supported the proposals and agreed to the expenditure of £950 from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley Ward allocation) to fund the Order and works.
