The Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing has approved the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the following orders being made:
Proposed Revocation of all existing Traffic Regulation Orders on Shaw Heath - Western side
From the South Easterly kerbline of Holmes Street to the North Westerly kerbline of Heathland Terrace. (Note: there are no moving orders on this section of Shaw Heath).
Proposed No Waiting At Any Time/No Loading Monday-Friday 7.30am-9.30am & 4pm-6.30pm.
Shaw Heath - Western side from the South Easterly kerbline of Holmes Street for a distance of approximately 8 metres in a South Easterly direction.
Proposed Limited Waiting Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm 1 hour no return within 1 hour
Shaw Heath - Western side from a point approximately 8 metres South East of the South Easterly kerbline of Holmes Street to a point 1.5m north west of the North Westerly kerbline of Heathland Terrace
Proposed No Waiting At Any Time
Shaw Heath - Western side from the North Westerly kerbline of Heathland Terrace for a distance of 1.5 metres in a North Westerly direction.
The proposal below no longer requires a Traffic Regulation Order but does form part of the proposed waiting restrictions and is enforceable.
Proposed Bus Stop Clearway
Shaw Heath - Western side from a point 1.5 metres North West of the North Westerly kerbline of Heathland Terrace for a distance of approximately 19 metres in a North Westerly direction.
The £700 cost of the scheme is to be funded from the Cabinet Member’s Strategic Budget.
The Central Stockport Area Committee supported the proposals.
