The Area Committee has considered a report regarding parking provision on the lower level of the Stopford House Car Park, Stockport and approved the following proposals:-
· the revocation of Pay and Display parking on the lower level of the Stopford House car park and the consequential legal advertising of the removal of the reference to the Stopford House Lower Level in Schedule 1 to the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport (Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2005.
· the introduction of staff permit parking on the lower level of Stopford House (Monday – Friday) and reintroduce pay and display parking on Saturdays and Sundays.
· in the event that no objections are received to the proposals, to authorise the making of an Order reflecting these proposals.
