The Executive Councillor (Communities & Housing) has approved the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders, and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the orders can be made, at an estimated cost of £425,000 to be funded from the CCAG2 grant which forms part of the Highways Capital Programme 2016/17/18:-
Moving Traffic Regulation Order (MTRO)
The following areas of footway are to be converted into a cycle track under Section 65(1) of the Highways Act 1980 so to provide a shared use pedestrian/cycle facility:
Ladybridge Road, Cheadle Hulme, north west side, from the southerly kerb line of Mill Lane for a distance of 50 metres in a south westerly direction.
Ladybridge Road, Cheadle Hulme, south east side, from a point 40 metres south of the projected southerly kerb line of Mill Lane for a distance of 110 metres in a south westerly direction.
Demmings Road, Cheadle, east side, from the projected northerly kerb line of Old Wool Lane for a distance of 90 metres in a northerly direction.
Demmings Road, Cheadle, west side, from the southerly kerb line of Brookfield Road for a distance of 110 metres in a southerly direction.
Demmings Road, Cheadle, west side, from the northerly kerb line of Brookfield Road for a distance of 100m in a northerly direction.
Councillor Lane, Cheadle, west side from its junction with Demmings Road for a distance of 65 metres in a northerly direction.
