The Executive Councillor (Communities & Housing) has approved the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders scheduled within Appendix A of the report and subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertising date the subsequent making of the Orders.

The Orders are part of the Town Centre Access Plan and relate specifically to Chestergate within the Town Centre. The amendments to the Orders are required to enable the previously agreed range of improvements to be delivered.

The £2000 cost of the scheme is to be met from the Town Centre Access Plan budget.
