The Executive Councillor (Supporting Places) has approved the Transport Capital Programme for 2016-17 and 2017-18.

The programme is funded from a variety of sources. Including specific grants, central government funding, developer funded schemes and growth deal schemes.

Many of these funding sources specifically define how the funds will be spent. Ongoing inspection and maintenance programmes are used to identify other focuses of work via a prioritisation process.

The Programme was considered by the Environment & Economy Scrutiny Committee on 10 March 2016.
