The Area Committee has approved an application from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold its second half marathon on Sunday 4 September 2016 with a circular route being run from and back to Stockport County Football Club along the Trans Pennine Trail between Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale Nature Park and on into Manchester.
This approval is subject to the organiser obtaining appropriate papers, event plans, health and safety documentation, licences and/or insurances, and the users of the public address system having consideration for local residents.
