Investing in Stockport Programme: Executive Proposals

23/03/2016 - Investing in Stockport Programme: Executive Proposals (LDR37)

The Executive considered the outcome of consultation on Investing in Stockport proposals deferred from the Executive Meeting on 16 December 2015, and then agreed that:-

 

·         those proposals set out in the report in Final Business Case format be approved and officers be requested to proceed to implementation for 2016/17; and

 

·         approval be given to the allocation of the 2016/17 budget provision agreed by the Council Meeting on 3 March 2016 for one-off priority investments, as set out in paragraph 3.4 of the report.


17/12/2015 - Stockport Together - Integrating Health and Social Care (LDR37)

The Executive considered an update about Stockport Together – Integrating Health & Social Care and agreed that:-

 

·           the ‘Plan D’ proposals set out in the report in respect of the financial year 2016/17 be approved; and,

·           the continued development of Stockport Together be supported, through the preparation of more detailed plans to create an integrated approach to providing for the health and care needs of the local population through pooled budget arrangements with the Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group.


17/12/2015 - Investing in Stockport Programme: Executive Proposals (LDR37)

The Executive considered the Investing in Stockport Executive Proposals developed in response to the forecasts in the Medium Term Financial Plan report:-

 

·         the indicative cash limit budget allocations outlined in Appendix One of the report and the proposed indicative budget for 2016/17 set out in Appendix Two be approved;

·         those proposals that were in Final Business Case format be approved and officers be authorised to proceed to implementation for 2016/17;

·         agreement be given to those proposals that were to return to Executive in February 2016 for implementation in 2016/17 via the January cycle of Scrutiny Committees

·         the Corporate Leadership Team continue with the steps necessary to agree and reach a final balanced budget proposal for 2016/17 for presentation to the Council Budget meeting in February 2016.


19/08/2015 - Investing In Stockport - 2016/17 Executive Proposals (LDR37)

The Executive considered the Investing in Stockport 2016/17 Executive Proposals and agreed that:-

 

·           the indicative budget allocations and investment propositions set out in the report and the associated business cases be agreed;

·           the Corporate Leadership team and senior managers, in consultation with the relevant Executive Councillors, be requested to undertake the appropriate consultation exercises and to develop implementation plans, including impact and risk assessments, to facilitate the delivery of the proposals set out in the report;

·           in relation to the Leisure Review, to the Corporate Leadership Team be requested to:

-        proceed with funding essential works in the region of £0.350m at Hazel Grove Recreation Centre;

-        proceed with establishing appropriate coverage and/or investment return mechanisms with Hazel Grove High School to partially offset the cost of the Council’s investments; and

-        draw up the necessary documentation and agreements with Hazel Grove High School to underpin these arrangements and protect public use of the Hazel Grove Recreation Centre;

·         as appropriate, proposals be resubmitted for the Executive’s approval as consultation exercises were completed and/or more detailed plans prepared;

·         the steps necessary to agree a final balanced budget proposal for 2016/17 and an updated Medium Term Financial Plan for presentation to the Council budget meeting in March 2016 continue to be taken; and

·         a report be submitted to all scrutiny committees in the September 2015 meeting cycle outlining the proposals relating to each committee’s remit.
