The Executive Councillor (Communities and Sustainability) has approved the Transportation Capital Programme.

Capital programme and related report provides detailed information about the proposed transportation capital programme in 2015/16 and an overview of the indicative programme until 2017/18 and future years.

The maintenance related programmes are developed using a needs based approach incorporating the outcome of detailed condition surveys. Other elements are focused on supporting corporate priorities and the detailed criteria required by individual funding sources

The transportation capital programme forms part of the Council’s overall capital strategy and includes two major transport schemes, the Highways Investment Programme, the proposed maintenance programme as well as a number of smaller schemes which are being funded following successful bids. They therefore are subject to the conditions of the individual bids.
