The Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) has approved the dedication and adoption of Railway Road, Marple, as a public vehicular highway for the length and widths shown set out below, at a cost of approximately £300 to be met from developer funding.

From a point 4.5m from the southern kerb line of Stockport Road at a width of 10.2 metres for a distance of 34 metres in a southerly direction.

 

From a point approx. 38.5 metres south of the southern kerb line of Stockport Road at a width of 9.2 metres for a distance of 16 metres in a southerly direction.

 

From a point 54.5 metres south of the southern kerb line of Stockport Road at a width of 10.7 metres for a distance of 40 metres in a southerly direction.

 

From a point 94.5 metres south of the southern kerb line of Stockport Road at a width of 18 metres for a distance of 55 metres in a southerly direction.

 

From a point 149.5 metres south of the southern kerb line of Stockport Road at a width of 23 metres for a distance of 26 metres in a southerly direction.

 

From a point 175.5 metres south of the southern kerb line of Stockport Road at a width of 9.5 metres for a distance of 60 metres in a south westerly direction.

 

The Marple Area Committee supported the proposals.
