The Council Meeting has:-
(1) Approved the appropriate Council Tax resolutions as detailed at Appendix One to the report for a 2.5% increase in the Council-controlled element of the tax, and when taking into account the Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Authority precepts, an increase of 2.82%.
The Council therefore approved a Band D Council Tax of £1,604.02 for the 2013/14 financial year.
(2) Noted the calculation of Aggregate Amounts as directed by Section 31A of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 set out at Appendix Two to the report.
The Executive Meeting has agreed, based on the calculations and assumptions set out in the report considered at the meeting, that the Stockport Council Tax Base for 2013/14 be set at a Band D equivalent figure of 87,639.46
