The Director for Place Management has given approval to an application from GRIT Studios for a grant of £700 from the CAN Seed Fund budget (Brinnington & Stockport Central ward allocation) towards the cost of a street party in August that seeks to promote public awareness of climate issues by providing vegan food and plants for growing vegetables to local residents.

The ward councillors have been consulted on this grant allocation and are in agreement that it be made.
