The Assistant Director for Legal & Democratic Governance has given approval to an application from Brinnington Community Savers for a grant of £600 from the Ward Flexibility Fund budget (Brinnington & Stockport Central ward allocation) towards the cost of a day trip to Blackpool for its group members, some with health issues, and notably to enable members to travel together in helping to further foster connections and reduce isolation.

The ward councillors have been consulted on this grant allocation and agreed that it be made.
