The Cabinet Member for Highways, Parks and Leisure Services has given approval to the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders, at a cost of £1,760 to be funded from the Road Safety Budget:-

Revocation of existing Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) Schedule

No Loading Mon to Fri 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm

Wellington Road South, Central - Both sides: from a point 33m south east of the southerly kerbline of Station Road for a distance of 75m in a north westerly direction.

Station Road, Central - Both sides: from the junction with Wellington Road South for a distance of 60m in a generally westerly direction

Wellington Street, Central - Both sides: from the junction with Wellington Road South for a distance of 35m in a generally easterly direction

Wellington Road South, Central - Western side: from a point 33m south of the southerly kerbline of Station Road for a distance of 75m in a northerly direction.

Wellington Road South, Central - Eastern side: from a point 49m north west of the northside kerbline of Wellington Street for a distance of 95m in a south easterly direction.

Station Road, Central - Both sides: from the junction with Wellington Road South for a distance of 75m in a westerly direction

Wellington Street, Central - Both sides: from the junction with Wellington Road South for a distance of 35m in an easterly direction

The proposal had been discussed with the Brinnington & Central Highways Ward Spokesperson who has recommended that the orders be made.
