To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration
The report presents the findings from a consultation on a proposed improvement scheme for Little Moor and proposes to:-
· implement a proposed improvement scheme (proposals amended following consultation)
· a Traffic Regulation Order to prohibit waiting on Hall Street between George Street East and the signal controlled pedestrian crossing on George Street East close to the junction with Hall Street.
The Area Committee is requested to recommend that the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport approves:-
· the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in Appendix D to the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.
· the implementation of the updated, proposed improvement scheme in accordance with the drawings in Appendix E.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the findings from a consultation on a proposed improvement scheme for Little Moor and which proposed to:-
· implement a proposed improvement scheme (the proposals had been amended following consultation).
· a Traffic Regulation Order to prohibit waiting on Hall Street between George Street East and the signal controlled pedestrian crossing on George Street East close to the junction with Hall Street.
RESOLVED – (1) That the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport be recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in Appendix D to the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
(2) That the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport be recommended to approve the implementation of the updated, proposed improvement scheme in accordance with the drawings in Appendix E to the report.
