Park use application - Bruntwood Park - 07/09/2025 - North Region BMX Race To consider a report of the Director of Place Management
The report details an application from Bruntwood Park BMX Club who would like to host their annual North Regional Race at the Bruntwood Park BMX Track on 7th September, with access required between 6am and 8pm.
The Area Committee is recommended to give approval and the application be granted subject to the event organiser obtaining and providing the relevant paperwork at least 2 weeks prior to the event, including any necessary licences, health and safety documentation, insurance certificates, a satisfactory traffic management plan and the payment of agreed fees and charges

This report considers objections made in relation to the proposed Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) and establishment of Crossing Notice on Manchester Road in Cheadle.
The Area Committee is recommended to note report and to recommend that notwithstanding the objections received, the Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services make the order as originally advertised, and that the amended layout of the Toucan Crossing and Traffic Calming Feature are constructed as detailed in the report.

Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust Annual Report 2024/25 To consider a report of the Director of Finance – S.151 Officer
This report is to inform Members of the financial standing of the Trust as at 31 March 2025 and to formally adopt the audited Financial Accounts of the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust for the financial year ending 31 March 2025, which can be found at Appendix one.
The Area Committee is recommended to - (1) Note the contents of this report; (2) Formally adopt the Financial Accounts of the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust for year ending 31 March 2025; (3) Consider whether funding is to be made available for distribution from the Trust during 2025/26; and (4) Advise as to any changes in the investment policies adopted that they wish to make. As a reminder, the investment policies are: · To maintain the value of the Trust in real terms before considering any distribution, and · To reinvest the dividends received in relation to the Investment Fund back into that Investment Fund.
