Ward Flexibility Funding - Heaton Mersey Village Cricket Club To consider an application received from Heaton Mersey Village Cricket Club for Ward Flexibility Funding for a total grant of £945 (£45 from Marple North and £45 from Marple South ward allocations) towards the cost of hosting a family fun day open to the community. The club draws members from across the Stockport Borough. |

Highways Maintenance Delegated Budget Report - School Lane, Compstall To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.
The report provides the details relating to the proposed highway maintenance scheme on School Lane, Compstall.
The Area Committee is asked to support the proposed maintenance scheme outlined in the report and authorises the Director of Place Management to order the following work:
School Lane, Compstall – Carriageway repairs following road collapse – Part contribution totalling £10,000.00 to be funded by the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management delegated budget (Marple North)

Resident Parking Scheme - Old Reading Rooms To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.
This report details the findings of observations carried out to assess the impact on car parks and surrounding streets during the issue of temporary permits for properties 1-6 The Old Reading Rooms, and 229A Market Street (1 permit per property for Etherow Car Park).
The Area Committee is asked to recommend that the Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services approves the recommendation to provide one permit per property for Etherow Car Park The individual costs of the permits will be £47.50, costs of which will be reviewed annually to align with the principles adopted through the Council’s Medium Term Financial Planning to balance the costs of services.

Park Use Application - Cromwell Avenue Recreation Ground Summer Event To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.
The report provides the details relating to an event application received from the Friends of Cromwell Avenue Park to hold their Summer Event on Sunday 13th July 2025. The event will run from 2pm until 4pm with access required from 11am until 7pm. There will be a Cake Stall and Donkey Rides. There will be first aid provision on the day. They expect between 50 and 150 people will attend.
The Area Committee is recommended to give approval for the application to be granted subject to the event organiser obtaining and providing the relevant paperwork at least 2 weeks prior to the event, including any necessary licences, health and safety documentation, insurance certificates, a satisfactory traffic management plan and the payment of agreed fees and charges.
