The report details the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders detailed in Appendix A relating to the ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions at the junction of Argyle Street and Grundey Street in Hazel Grove.

 

The Area Committee is asked to comment on and recommends that the Cabinet Member (Parks, Highways and Transport Services) approves the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders as detailed in Appendix A. and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the orders can be made at a total cost of £950 to be funded from the delegated Ward Budget (Hazel Grove).

Parks Event Application - Kids Adventure Kingdom Inflatable World & Childrens Rides at Torkington Park on 9th & 10th August 2025 pdf icon PDF 273 KB

To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

 

The report relates to an application received from 4 Seasons Events Group to hold a Kids Adventure Kingdom Inflatable World & Children’s Rides Event at Torkington Park on 9th and 10th August 2025. This 2-day event is for children up to the age of 12 and will include inflatable attractions: a Helter Skelter, a Play Centre, and also more traditional rides and stalls: trampolines, bumper cars, a roundabout and Hook-a-duck stall. Hot food and drinks will be available. The event will be open from 11.30am until 5.30pm each day with access being required from Wednesday 6th to Tuesday 11th August 2025.

 

The Area Committee is asked to approve the event subject to the organiser producing the appropriate health & safety documentation; insurances being in place; and paying the fee.
