The report details the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulations Orders relating to ‘No Waiting at Anytime’ restrictions on parts of Moston Street and Williamson Street in Reddish.

 

The Area Committee is asked to: -

 

a)    Approve the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders at a cost of £850 to be funded from the Delegated Ward Budget (North Reddish) as shown in Part A. of the Appendix as follows: -

The report provides details relating to ‘A Traffic Regulation Order’(TRO) for the Road Safety around Schools – Whitehill Primary School in Heaton Norris which was approved for advertisement on 2 December 2024 which was subsequently legally advertised between Wednesday 29 January 2025 and Tuesday 18 February 2025, with five objections being received and considered by the Heatons & Reddish Area Committee on the 10 March 2025.

 

The Area Committee is asked to comment on and recommends that the Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways and Transport Services approves the legal advertisement of the amended Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO’s) as set out in Appendix A of the report, and that subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, that the Orders be made.
