2024/25 Year-End Portfolio Performance and Resources Report: Health And Adult Social Care To consider a joint report of Director of Adult Social Care and the Director of Public Health.
The Year-End Report focuses on delivery of the portfolio priorities from October 2024 to March 2025. It includes forecast performance and financial data (where this is available) for the portfolio, along with an update on the portfolio savings programme and is based on the 2024/25 Portfolio Performance and Resource Agreement (PPRA), which was considered by the committee on 12 June 2024 and approved by Cabinet on 25 June 2024.
The Scrutiny Committee is asked to:
1) Consider the Year-End Portfolio Performance and Resource Report;
2) Review the progress against delivering key projects, priority outcomes, targets and budgets for 2024/25;
3) Highlight key areas of and responsibility for taking forward corrective action to address any performance or resource issues;
4) Highlight any significant issues or changes to be fed back to the Cabinet alongside the Corporate Performance and Resource Report; and
5) Identify how areas of strong performance and good practice can be shared in other services.

To consider a joint report of the Director of Adult Social Care and the Director of Public Health
This report presents the draft 2025/26 Agreement for the Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Portfolio for consideration and comment by the committee.

Adult Social Care Commissioning Strategy and Market Position Statement To consider a report of the Assistant Director for Adult Social Care Commissioning
This
report sets out the priorities for adult social care services over
the next 5 years. It describes how commissioning work ensures that
services are available to meet the needs of local people,
supporting them to live healthy and happy lives. The report also
considers the Market Position Statement is to which aims to create
a common understanding of the local care market covering need and
demand for care, and commissioning intentions to enable the
effective design and delivery of services for people that need care
and support now and in the future. The Scrutiny Committee is asked to comment on and note the report.
