A representative of the strategic Head of Service & Monitoring Officer (Legal & Democratic Governance) submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) summarising recent appeal decisions, listing current planning appeals and dates for local inquiries and informal hearings according to area committee.

 

It was reported that since the publication of the agenda, there had been a number of updates to the report as follows:-

·         That the appeal against the refusal to grant a certificate for a small rear extension to the rear living room at 11 Maple Avenue, Cheadle Hulme had been dismissed.

·         That the appeal against the refusal of planning permission for a rear extension, internal remodelling with a new roof structure at 3 The Oaks, Heald Green had been dismissed.

·         That the appeal against the refusal of prior approval of permitted development rights for a proposed 15.0m phase 8 monopole C/W wraparound cabinet at base and associated ancillary works at Chester Road, Woodford had been dismissed.

·         That the appeal against the refusal of prior approval of permitted development rights for a 15.0m phase 8 monopole c/w wraparound cabinet at base and associated ancillary works at Manchester Road, Heaton Chapel had been allowed.

·         With regard to an unauthorised second floor extension at 67 Earle Road, Bramhall, it was reported that a date had been set for an in-person hearing at Manchester High Court and would take place on 24 November 2022 for an injunction to remove the unauthorised extension.

 

Members requested an update in relation to the appeal against the refusal of planning permission for the change of use of the property from a hair salon to a grill food takeaway at 96 Longford Road West, North Reddish.
