To approve as a correct record and sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 1 February 2012.  

Minutes:

The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 1 February 2012 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

Development applications were submitted.

The Service Director (Place Development) is authorised to determine conditions and reasons and they are not therefore referred to in committee minutes unless the committee makes a specific decision on a condition or reason. Erection of six/seven storey building to form 165 bedroom Hilton Garden Inn Hotel with business conference areas and basement and ground level car park.

 

The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission for a period of 5 years subject to conditions and the completion of a Section 106 Agreement with the applicant for the payment of a financial contribution towards improvements to site accessibility and in accordance with the requirements of The Town and Country Planning (Development Plans and Consultation) (Departures) Directions 1999 referral of the application to the Secretary of State as a departure from the Development Plan.

In respect of plan no. 50541 for the erection of a six/seven storey building to form a 165 bedroom Hilton Garden Inn Hotel with business conference areas and basement and ground level car park on land at Kings Reach, Yew Street, it was:-

 

RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted for a period of 5 years subject to conditions and the completion of a Section 106 Agreement with the applicant for the payment of a financial contribution towards improvements to site accessibility and in accordance with the requirements of The Town and Country Planning (Development Plans and Consultation) (Departures) Directions 1999 referral of the application to the Secretary of State as a departure from the Development Plan.

Erection of four number three storey office buildings (use class B1) with total floorspace of 8,146 sqm, together with associated parking, servicing, hard and soft landscaping and other associated works.

 

The Committee is recommended to grant subject to conditions and a Section 106 Agreement in respect of a commuted payment towards off site highway works and the dedication of land for the Metrolink corridor.

Minutes:

In respect of plan no.50730 for the erection of four number three storey office buildings (use class B1) with total floorspace of 8, 146 sqm, together with associated parking, servicing, hard and soft landscaping and other associated works at Kings Reach Road, Yew Street, it was:-

 

RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted subject to conditions and the developer entering into a Section 106 Agreement in respect of a commuted payment towards off site highway works and the dedication of land for the Metrolink corridor.
