To approve as correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 24 October 2023.

The minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 24 October 2023 were approved as a correct record, subject to the noting of the request for Network Rail and Avanti West Coast to be invited to a future meeting of the Task Force to provide an update on the underpass at Stockport railway station.

The Director of Development & Regeneration submitted a presentation which provided an update on Phases 5 – 8 of Stockport Exchange.

RESOLVED – That the update be noted.

To consider a report of the Director of Development and Regeneration.

The report details an update on Town Centre projects covering the period since the previous meeting of the Task Force held on 24 October 2023.

The Task Force is requested to note the report.

The Director of Development & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) providing an update on town centre projects for the period since the previous update produced for the meeting of the task force on 24 October 2023.

Members welcomed the update and progress achieved since the last update reported across the range of town centre projects.

The request was reiterated for Network Rail and Avanti West Coast to be invited to a future meeting of the Task Force to provide an update on the underpass at Stockport railway station.
