Members of the public were invited to put questions to the Chair on any matters in the powers or duties of the Committee, subject to the exclusions set out within the Code of Practice.

 

One public question was submitted relating to comments made at a previous meeting of the Committee and whether a statement would be made in response to the conduct of this elected Member.

 

In response, it was stated that all public comments and questions were taken seriously by the Committee and the question would be forwarded to the council’s Monitoring Officer for deliberation and a response.

Members raised concerns in relation to 287 Wellington Road South as it had been reported that the door was insecure and people may be living inside who require support. In response, it was confirmed that the matter would be investigated by council officers.
