Public Service Infrastructure - Demolition of existing buildings on site and construction of a part-one, part-two storey SEN Secondary School with associated landscaping, MUGA, playspace and parking.
The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission subject to:-
a. conditions;
b. a Section 111 Agreement to secure developer contributions toward highways improvements;
c. no objections being raised by specialist consultees in respect of biodiversity;
d. resolution of the Highways Engineer’s request for additional information in support of the Transport Assessment and minor amendment to show an increased parking provision; and
e. resolution of the queries raised regarding the use of renewable and low carbon energies and the potential to retrofit these.

The report summarises recent appeal decisions; lists current planning appeals and dates for local enquiries; informal hearings for planning appeals, and enforcement action by Area Committee area.

The following comments were made/ issues raised:-
· In relation to the enforcement appeal for The Garden House, Marple, it was noted that this appeal had been dismissed. In response, it was commented that there were ongoing discussions in relation to The Garden House, however in respect of enforcement action this would be removed from the next report. · An update was requested relating to 21 Ogden Road, Bramhall and the notice that had been served as it was understood that the matter had been resolved. In response, it was commented that an update would be provided at the next meeting.
