RESOLVED – That the Corporate Director for Corporate and Support Services & Deputy Chief Executive be authorised to determine the application subject to the submission of an amended plan to reduce the number of rooflights in the front roof slope of the proposed development and the imposition of a condition such that notwithstanding the materials referred to in the schedule of plans, no development shall commence until the proposed materials have been submitted and approved by the planning authority.

A representative of the strategic Head of Service & Monitoring Officer (Legal & Democratic Governance) submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) summarising recent appeal decisions, listing current planning appeals and dates for local inquiries and informal hearings according to area committee.

 

Members received an update on Garden House, Lakes Road, Marple, Stockport. It was noted that, since the last committee meeting, a section 106 agreement been signed and sealed, planning permission granted and the enforcement notice withdrawn. Queries from residents had been received in relation to alleged breaches of conditions, which had been referred to the Enforcement Officer for investigation. Members were advised that the council had recently reminded the operators about the requirements of planning conditions and particulars on notice.

 

Members noted a correction to the report in relation to the location of 11 Maple Avenue (Cheadle Hulme North).
