Demolition of existing buildings on site and construction of a part-one, part-two storey SEN Secondary School with associated landscaping, MUGA, playspace and parking.

 

The Planning and Highways Regulation Committee be recommended to grant subject to:

 

a.    conditions;

 

b.    a Section 111 Agreement to secure developer contributions toward highways improvements;

 

c.    no objections being raised by specialist consultees in respect of biodiversity;

 

d.    resolution of the Highways Engineer’s request for additional information in support of the Transport Assessment and minor amendment to show an increased parking provision; and

 

e.    resolution of the queries raised regarding the use of renewable and low carbon energies and the potential to retrofit these.

Review of Polling Districts, Polling Places and Polling Stations pdf icon PDF 254 KB

To consider a report of the Chief Executive. 

 

The report sets out the changes made to the proposed polling arrangements within the area following the feedback received during the Stage One consultation only. In the event any further proposals are received via the Stage Two consultation prior to the committee meeting, but after the publication of this report, then an update will be brought to the meeting. 

 

The views of the Area Committee are sought on the proposed polling arrangements. Any comments or suggestions will then be considered together with those received via the Stage Two public consultation. A report containing the final proposals will be submitted to the CRMG Scrutiny Meeting on 11 October 2022, then the Cabinet Meeting on 1 November 2022 and the Council Meeting on 17 November 2022.

Safer Street Save Lives - Finney Lane, Heald Green pdf icon PDF 264 KB

To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

 

The report details the findings of a consultation exercise and seeks approval for the introduction of a Moving Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) and removal of traffic calming measures.

 

The Area Committee is requested to consider and recommend that the Cabinet Member for Highways, Parks and Leisure Services approves the removal of the temporary cushions, and experimental order be established as a permanent Moving Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) of 20mph, as shown in Appendix G.
