Ward Flexibility Funding - The Gatley Flower Rangers (part of Gatley Village Partnership) PDF 420 KB To consider any applications for Ward Flexibility Funding or to receive feedback from organisations who have received funding. Additional documents: Minutes: A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted an application received on behalf of The Gatley Flower Rangers (part of Gatley Village Partnership) for funding towards various flowers, plants and gardening equipment to help Gatley become a more attractive place for its residents and businesses by improving its green spaces.
RESOLVED – (1) That approval be given to an application received from The Gatley Flower Rangers (part of Gatley Village Partnership) for a grant of £1,000 towards various flowers, plants and gardening equipment, to be funded from the Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation.
(2) That the Borough Treasurer be requested to facilitate the virement of £1,000 from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation) to the Ward Flexibility Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation). |

Development Application To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.
To consider consultations (if any) received by the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration on any planning issues relevant to the Cheadle area.

The Area Committee is requested to consider whether to divert Public Footpath 108 Cheadle and Gatley at Yew Tree Farm under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
The Area Committee is requested to authorise the making of an Order under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, diverting a Section Public Footpath 108 Cheadle and Gatley, and in the event that objections are received and sustained to the Order, the Committee resolves to forward the order to the Secretary of State for confirmation.

The report sets out a proposal to introduce No Waiting restrictions at the junction of Councillor Lane with Dryden Avenue and Cranleigh Drive, Cheadle.
The Area Committee is requested to recommend the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.

The report sets out the results of an investigation into parked vehicles hindering visibility and safety for other road users on Thornton Road at the junction with Finney Lane and recommends approving No Waiting restrictions and providing dropped kerb crossings for pedestrians at this junction and the adjacent junction at West Avenue.
The Area Committee is requested to recommend the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport to approve:-
