Public Realm The local Public Realm Inspector will attend the meeting to provide an update on matters raised at the last committee meetings. Councillors and Members of the public are invited to raise issues affecting local environmental quality. The following comments were made/issues raised:-
· It was raised whether a schedule of regular locations with overhanging vegetation could be compiled. · The problem of cars parking on the grass verge on Ladybridge Road, Cheadle Hulme continued to be a problem. · The street cleaning of Lorna Grove, Gatley appeared not to be continuing and needed rectifying. · There was overgrown vegetation opposite Cheadle Mosque on Wilmslow Road, Heald Green which needed attending to.

The purpose of this report is to update members on the operation of the Speed Indicator Devices operated by Road Safety on behalf of the Cabinet Member and the Area Committees.

Road Safety around Schools - Etchells Primary School, Heald Green PDF 196 KB To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration
The report sets out the findings of a consultation exercise for Road Safety around Schools – Etchells Primary School and seeks approval to the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders, associated signage and pencil bollards.
The Area Committee is requested to recommend the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.
