Neighbourhoods and Prevention Programme Update – Stockport Live Well To consider a report of the Executive Director for People and Neighbourhoods.
The report provides the latest update on Stockport Live Well building on the report brought in September 2024 on the Neighbourhoods and Prevention Programme, specifically neighbourhood profiles and outlines the key areas of focus for the next 12 months, in particular an update on development of the Stockport neighbourhood model (including networks, meetings, coordination and leadership).
The Area Committee is asked to: -
(1) Comment on and to note the report.
(2) Provide local advice to the development of the networks in particular to suggest venues for future network meetings.

Park use application - Theatre Event 102413 - Bramhall Park - 13 July 2025 To consider a report of the Director of Place Management
The report details an application from The Museums Services Team at Bramall Hall to hold their annual outdoor live theatre events on the croquet lawn to the side of the hall between 4 and 9pm on Sunday 13 July and Sunday 20 July.
The Area Committee is recommended to give approval and the application be granted subject to the event organiser obtaining and providing the relevant paperwork at least 2 weeks prior to the event, including any necessary licences, health and safety documentation, insurance certificates, a satisfactory traffic management plan and the payment of agreed fees and charges

Park use application - Bramhall Park - Duck Race - 18 May 2025 To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.
The report details an application from Bramhall and Woodford Rotary Club who have applied to hold their annual Duck Race and Family Fun Day at Bramhall Park. The proposed date is Sunday 18 May 2025 starting at 11 and 4pm, with access required between 7am and 6pm. The event donates 80% of the money raised to a nominated charity and the remaining 20% goes to the Clubs Charity account which goes on to support other charities and local causes.
The Area Committee is recommended to grant the application subject to the event organiser obtaining and providing the relevant paperwork at least 2 weeks prior to the event, including any necessary licences, health and safety documentation, insurance certificates, a satisfactory traffic management plan and the payment of agreed fees and charges.
