The purpose of the report is to consider the findings of a consultation exercise and to seek approval for the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) 'No Waiting Mon – Fri 8.00am – 9.30am & 2.00pm – 3.30pm (Single Yellow Line).

 

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) set out in Appendix A and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the order can be made.

Road Safety around Schools - Torkington Primary School pdf icon PDF 266 KB

To consider a report of the Director of Place Management

 

The purpose of the report is to consider the findings of a consultation exercise carried out between 11th October 2024 and 4th November 2024, for the Road Safety around Schools scheme Torkington Primary School and to seek approval for the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) and the associated road markings, signage; implementation of dropped kerbs with tactile paving and pencil bollards.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the legal advertising of the original proposals for the Traffic Regulation Orders and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, that the orders be made.

The report provides the latest update on Stockport Live Well building on the report brought in September 2024 on the Neighbourhoods and Prevention Programme, specifically neighbourhood profiles and outlines the key areas of focus for the next 12 months, in particular an update on development of the Stockport neighbourhood model (including networks, meetings, coordination and leadership).
