Neighbourhood Policing Councillors and members of the public are invited to raise ‘Neighbourhood Policing’ issues with the local Neighbourhood Policing Team. Additional documents: Minutes: The Chair reported that a representative of Greater Manchester Police had been unable to attend the meeting, but welcomed any neighbourhood policing questions or issues to be raised.
It was commented that members received regular emails from Greater Manchester Police and that the number of burglaries in the area had reduced. |

The report provides an update on delivering Reddish District Centre Action Plan, initial thoughts on how the £5,000 from UK Shared Prosperity Fund is to be allocated and support for Large Local Centres.
The Area Committee is asked to:-
a) note the progress made in developing the Reddish District Centre Action Plan. b) provide feedback on priority projects to allocate the £5,000 UKSPF to. c) note the plans to develop an information portal to support businesses and organisations in large Local Centres.

It was noted that there was a buzz and a lot of positive feeling in the area as a result and that members were looking forward to future work. · The contribution a business would need to make towards the cost of the Urban Front project following a successful application was queried. In response it was clarified that with previous applications this had been a 50% contribution up to a total value of £600.

The Area Committee is asked to comment on and recommend that the Cabinet Member for Parks, Highways & Transport Services approves the Traffic Regulation Order set out in Appendix A and be established on a permanent basis.

The report provides an update on progress since the last meeting on decisions taken by the Area Committee and details the current position on area flexibility funding. The report also includes the current position on the highway and traffic management delegated budget.

In response it was stated that Reddish South ward councillors wished to pursue a scheme to improve biodiversity in Reddish Vale through the rejuvenation of two ponds within the park.
