Chair's Announcements To receive any announcements from the Chair about local community events or issues. Additional documents: Minutes: The Chair on behalf of the Area Committee informed the Heatons and Reddish residents that: -
· Climate Action Now (CAN) - There was £9000 available in every ward for projects that would reduce greenhouse gases in Stockport. Any group could apply for up to £500, and the CAN team have just announced that there was an additional tier to the Fund that could support larger projects in the ward. · Vote of Thanks – Councillor Jude Wells was thanked on behalf of the Committee for the work and commitment she has made to the Area Committee as well as in her role as Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care especially during the pandemic. · Congratulations - Councillor David Wilson was congratulated on behalf of the Committee having been agreed at the last Council Meeting to become the Mayor of Stockport for 2022/23.

Ward Flexibility Funding - Friends of Cheshire Theatre School PDF 851 KB To consider an application for Ward Flexibility Funding received from the Friends of Cheshire Theatre School for a grant of £840 (£360 from Heatons North, £200 from Heatons South, £160 from Reddish North and £120 from Reddish South wards allocation) towards the cost of representing Team England at the Dance World Cup which has 12,000 children around the world aged from 4 to 25 trying to qualify for the finals which is held annually in a different location. This year it is in San Sebastian in Spain.

Craig Road Estate, Heaton Mersey PDF 307 KB To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.
The report provides details relating to a 3.5T weight limit order on Craig Road and adjoining streets in Heaton Mersey.
The Area Committee is asked to approve the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order; and recommends that the Cabinet Member (Communities & Housing) approves those parts of Traffic Regulation Order which are within 15 metres of a Strategic Route. Subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the following order can be made:
3.5 Tonne Environmental Weight Restriction (Except for Access):

Members welcomed the report and commented that it had been ongoing for a number of years and were pleased to see it had now been progressed.

Progress on Area Committee Decisions PDF 571 KB To consider a report of the Strategic Head of Service & Monitoring Officer (Legal & Democratic Governance).
The report provides an update on progress since the last meeting on decisions taken by the Area Committee and details the current position on area flexibility funding. The report also includes the current position on the highway and traffic management delegated budget.
The Area Committee is recommended to note the report.

The following comments were made/issues raised:
· Minute 22 - Parking Survey on Hooley Range be removed from the Progress Report as it would no longer be progressed following consultation with ward councillors.
· Discussions were taking place with Reddish North ward councillors and officers regarding outstanding balances relating to Delegated Budgets that did not appear in the schedule and would be submitted to the next meeting.
RESOLVED – (1) That the report be noted.
(2) That Minute 22 - Parking Survey on Hooley Range be removed from the Progress Report as it would no longer be progressed following consultation with ward councillors.
