Minutes: RECOMMENDATION - The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 5 September 2016 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.
2.	Declarations of Interest View the background to item 2. Councillors and officers to declare any interests which they have in any of the items on the agenda for the meeting. Minutes: Councillors and officers were invited to declare any interests they had in any of the items on the agenda for the meeting. No declarations of interest were made.
3.	Urgent Decisions Minutes: No urgent decisions were reported.

Members of the public are invited to put questions to the Chair on any matters within the powers and duties of the Committee, subject to the exclusions set out in the Code of Practice. You can also submit via the Council’s website at www.stockport.gov.uk/publicquestions) Minutes: Members of the public were invited to put questions to the Chair on any matters within the powers and duties of the Area Committee, subject to the exclusions set out in the Code of Practice. 5.	Outcome of a Standards Sub Committee on 14 September 2016 PDF 77 KB View the background to item 5. To consider a report of the Monitoring Officer. The report informs the Standards Committee of the outcome of a Standards Sub Committee on 14 September 2016 and invites the Committee to: · To instruct the Monitoring Officer to thank the officers of the Council who gave assistance to the sub committee · To consider amendments to the procedure for meetings of the Standards-Sub Committee · To consider whether to recommend amendments to the Code of Conduct for Members in the light of the proceedings of the Sub-Committee The Standards Committee are invited to comment on the report. PDF 108 KB Minutes: The Monitoring Officer submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) informing the Standards Committee of the outcome of a Standards Sub Committee on 14 September 2016 and invited the Committee to: · To instruct the Monitoring Officer to thank the officers of the Council who gave assistance to the sub committee · To consider amendments to the procedure for meetings of the Standards-Sub Committee · To consider whether to recommend amendments to the Code of Conduct for Members in the light of the proceedings of the Sub-Committee. RECOMMENDATION – (1) That the Monitoring Officer be requested to thank the officers of the Council who gave assistance to the sub committee (2) That the proposed amendments to the procedure for meetings of the Standards-Sub Committee as set out in the report be approved. (3) That the seating arrangements for meetings of the Sub-Committee be reviewed.
