The applicant attended the meeting to speak to the application and respond to questions from the Sub Committee.
RESOLVED – That approval be given to an application for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust received from 2nd Cheadle Scout Group for a grant of £4,000 towards the cost of drainage works to future proof the Scout Headquarters. |

Friends of Valley P.T.A PDF 1 MB Friends of Valley P.T.A is asking for up to £5000 from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust towards the cost of new adapted cycles (trikes, bikes, scooters, and outdoor equipment) that are suitable for the needs of the pupils of Valley School. Minutes: A representative of the Assistant Director for Legal & Democratic Governance submitted an application received on behalf of Friends of Valley P.T.A (copies of which had been circulated) which sought funding towards the cost of new adapted cycles (trikes, bikes, scooters, and outdoor equipment) that were suitable for the needs of the pupils of Valley School.
The applicant attended the meeting to speak to the application and respond to questions from the Sub Committee.
Members encouraged a further opening-up of the resource on occasion for other people in the local area to make use of the provision. It was noted that the school held two events per year to enable those that were not pupils at the school to make use of school resources.
