To consider a report of the Assistant Director for Legal & Democratic Governance.

The report details an application received for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust and asks that the Sub Committee consider and determine the applicationin line with the charitable objectives of the Trust.

The Sub Committee is requested to determine the applicationfor funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust.

A representative of the Assistant Director for Legal & Democratic Governance submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing an application received for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust and recommended that the Sub Committee consider and determine the application in line with the charitable objectives of the Trust.

All Hallows Church Cheadle is asking for £1823.97 from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust towards the cost of improving the accessible toilet facilities at the church for the benefit of users of the building.

A representative of the Assistant Director for Legal & Democratic Governance submitted an application received on behalf of All Hallows Church Cheadle (copies of which had been circulated) which sought funding towards the cost of improving the accessible toilet facilities at the church for the benefit of users of the building.

The applicant attended the meeting to speak to the application and respond to questions from the Sub Committee.

It was noted that the amount being applied for was now £1562.50, less than the original ask. This change related to the final quote received.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to an application for funding from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust received from All Hallows Church Cheadle for a grant of £1562.50 towards the cost of improving the accessible toilet facilities at the church for the benefit of users of the building.
