To consider a report of the Strategic Head of Service & Monitoring Officer (Legal & Democratic Governance)

The report sets out the Scrutiny Review Panel Procedure Rules and suggests that the Panel should adopt them for the purpose of conducting the review.

The Panel is requested to formally adopt the Scrutiny Review Panel Rules for the purpose of conducting the review.

To consider a report of the Director of Children’s Services.

The report outlines the proposed scope and brief for reviewing Children & Young People’s Participation.

The Scrutiny Committee is recommended to consider and comment on the report, and use the discussion as the basis for determining the scope of the work of the Review Panel.

A number of interested parties have been invited to attend the meeting to discuss the provisions and systems in place to support young people.

The following organisations/individuals have agreed to attend the meeting to share their experiences with the Panel and respond to any questions they might have: -

The Scrutiny Review Panel are invited to consider and comment on the information presented at the meeting and to make any appropriate recommendations for consideration as part of the draft final report.
