Better Care Fund 3rd Quarter pdf icon PDF 103 KB

To consider a report of the Chief Finance Officer (CCG) and Borough Treasurer (Council).

 

The objective of the report is to inform the HWBB of the status of the Better Care Fund at January 2020 and to describe the activities taking place and planned for the remainder of the financial year.

 

Please note that there is an appendix to this report which will be circulated prior to the meeting.

 

The Board will be invited to endorse the report and sign off the BCF Template for submission to Greater Manchester.

A joint report of the Chief Finance Officer (Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group) and the Borough Treasurer (Stockport Council) was submitted (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Sub-Committee to consider the Better Care Fund (BCF) Quarter 3 Monitoring Returns and providing an update on the financial performance of the BCF as at 31 December 2019.

 

There was a discussion about the Equipment Service overspend, the LD Tenancy overspend and the Disabled Facilities Grant capital underspend that related to resources and demand for services.

 

RESOLVED – That (1) the BCF monitoring returns be approved for submission.

 

(2) the finance performance of the BCF as at 31 December 2019 (Quarter 3) be noted.
