Issue - meetings

A representative of the Strategic Head of Service (Legal and Democratic Governance and Monitoring Officer) submitted an application received on behalf of Sen{d} Youth Group (copies of which had been circulated) that aimed to tackle loneliness amongst children by setting up a youth group for children with additional needs.

The applicant attended the meeting to speak to their application and respond to questions from the Sub Committee.

Members welcomed the application and requested that an update be provided to members of the Cheadle Area Committee in six months on how the project was progressing.

RESOLVED - That approval be given to an application from Sen{d} Youth Group for a grant of £2,000 from the Brookfield Park Shiers Family Trust towards the cost of setting up a youth group for children with additional needs.
