To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report provides details relating to a 3.5T weight limit order on Craig Road and adjoining streets in Heaton Mersey.

The Area Committee is asked to approve the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order; and recommends that the Cabinet Member (Communities & Housing) approves those parts of Traffic Regulation Order which are within 15 metres of a Strategic Route. Subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the following order can be made:

3.5 Tonne Environmental Weight Restriction (Except for Access):

Langham Road, Branksome Road, Norton Grove, Bramley Crescent, Craig Road, Hamilton Crescent, Craig Close, Furness Grove, Larwood Avenue, Sherwood Avenue, Ravenswood Avenue, Birchwood Close, Cedarwood Avenue, Valley Road, Valewood Avenue, Aspen Close, Alderwood Avenue, The Glade, Sandringham Drive, Middlewood Drive, Boddens Hill Road, Rosewood Avenue, Greenside, Leeside, Woodside

For their full Adopted lengths.

The scheme would also include the installation of weight limit warning signs on Didsbury Road; however this does not form part of the Traffic Regulation Order.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) providing details relating to a 3.5T weight limit order on Craig Road and

adjoining streets in Heaton Mersey.

Members welcomed the report and commented that it had been ongoing for a number of years and were pleased to see it had now been progressed.
