To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

 

The report provides details relating to the Stockport County Supporters Co-operative and their application to hold their annual half-marathon on Sunday 4th September 2022 long the Trans Pennine Trail between the Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester. The event will start at 9.30am and finish at 12.30pm, setting up from 9.00am.

 

The Area Committee is asked to approve this event subject to the organiser obtaining and submitting the appropriate papers, event plans, health & safety documentation, licences and/or insurances and fees and charges.

A representative of the Corporate Director (Place) & Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) providing details relating to the Stockport County Supporters Co-operative and their application to hold their annual half-marathon on Sunday 4th September 2022 long the Trans Pennine Trail between the Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester. RESOLVED – That approval be given for an application from the Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold their annual half-marathon on Sunday 4th September 2022 long the Trans Pennine Trail between the Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester. The event will start at 9.30am and finish at 12.30pm, setting up from 9.00am, subject to the organiser obtaining and submitting the appropriate papers, event plans, health & safety documentation, licences and/or insurances and fees and charges.
