To consider a report of the Director of Place Management.

 

To report on an objection which has been received to a Traffic Regulation Order.

 

The Area Committee is recommended that the Order be made as advertised, subject to the proposed amendment set out in the report.

A representative of the Director of Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) which set out an objection received to the proposed introduction of a ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order at the junction of Councillor Lane with Dryden Avenue and Cranleigh Drive.

 

RESOLVED - That in the light of the objection, the order be amended as follows to reduce the extent of the proposed restrictions:

 

No Waiting at Any Time:

 

Councillor Lane

 

Western side from a point 32 metres North of the (projected) Northern kerb line of Dryden Avenue in a Southerly direction to a point 22 metres South of the Southern kerb line of Dryden Avenue.

 

Eastern side from a point 18 metres North of the Northern kerb line of Cranleigh Drive in a Southerly direction to a point 29 metres South of the (projected) Southern kerb line of Cranleigh Drive.

 

Dryden Avenue

 

Northern side from the (projected) Western kerb line of Councillor Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a Westerly direction and to tie in with the aforementioned on that side of Councillor Lane.

 

Southern side from the (projected) Western kerb line of Councillor Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a Westerly direction and to tie in with the aforementioned on that side of Councillor Lane.

 

Cranleigh Drive

 

Northern side from the Eastern kerb line of Councillor Lane for a distance of 15 metres in an Easterly direction and to tie in with the aforementioned on this side of Councillor Lane.

 

Southern side from the (projected) Eastern kerb line of Councillor Lane for a distance of 14 metres in an Easterly direction and to tie in with the aforementioned on this side of Councillor Lane.
