To consider a report of the Corporate Director (Place) & Deputy Chief Executive.

The report details an application for the use of Woodbank Memorial Park on Sunday, 26 June 2022 between 9.00a.m.-12.30p.m as part of a wider application for the Stockport Active Weekend Event.

The Area Committee is recommended to grant the application subject to all appropriate paperwork and licences being obtained.

A representative of the Strategic Head of Service (Legal & Democratic Governance and Monitoring Officer) submitted a report of the Corporate Director (Place) & Deputy Chief Executive (copies of which had been circulated) detailing an application for the use of Woodbank Memorial Park on Sunday 26 June 2022 between 9.00am-12.30pm as part of a wider application for the Stockport Active Weekend Event.

RESOLVED – That approval be given for the use of Woodbank Memorial Park on Sunday, 26 June 2022 as part of a wider application for the Stockport Active Weekend Event which also includes the use of Daisy Fields and Vernon Park that are the subject of separate applications to the Central Stockport and Werneth area committees, subject to all appropriate paperwork and licences being obtained.
