To consider a report of the Corporate Director (Place) and Deputy Chief Executive.

 

The report provides details of a proposed highway maintenance scheme on Priory Lane, Reddish – Footway Resurfacing to link path between Priory Lane and David Street at a cost of £7,500.

 

The Area Committee is asked to support the maintenance scheme outlined in the report and authorises the Deputy Chief Executive & Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration to order the work.

A representative of the Corporate Director (Place) and Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) providing details of a proposed highway maintenance scheme on Priory Lane,  Reddish – Footway Resurfacing to link path between Priory Lane and David Street at a

cost of £7,500.

 

Councillor David Wilson welcomed the report and commented that it was in an area of a very popular school.

 

Councillor Kate Butler commented that the flooding in the area made it difficult to pass for those going to school and church and welcomed the report despite the costs and it being on an unadopted highway.

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given for the following proposed highway maintenance scheme to be funded by this Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management delegated budget at a cost of £7,500 and authorises the Deputy Chief Executive & Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration to order the work:-

 

Reddish North Ward

 

Priory Lane, Reddish – Footway Resurfacing to link path between Priory Lane and David Street – Totalling £7,500.00.
