A representative of the Assistant Director for Legal and Democratic Governance submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to appoint councillors to lay wreaths at Remembrance Day services at Cheadle, Gatley and Heald Green war memorials on Sunday 12 November 2023.
RESOLVED – That approval be given to the appointment of the following councillors to lay wreaths on behalf of the council on Sunday 12 November 2023:
Cheadle – Yvonne Guariento and Jilly Julian
Gatley – Ian Hunter
Heald Green – Catherine Stuart
