To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

 

The report outlines the findings of a consultation exercise and seeks approval for the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ on Hardy Drive, Bramhall and a number of other nearby surrounding roads.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) detailed in Appendix A to the report and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £1,685 to be funded by way of developer contribution.

A representative of the Strategic Head of Service (Legal & Democratic Governance and Monitoring Officer) submitted a report of the Corporate Director (Place) & Deputy Chief Executive (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal for the introduction of a ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Traffic Regulation order on Hardy Drive, Bramhall and a number of other nearby surrounding roads.

 

It was reported that following consultation between the ward Spokesperson and officers from Traffic Services, it had been agreed to reduce the extend of the proposed restrictions.

 

RESOLVED - That approval be given to the legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) detailed in Appendix A to the report and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £1,685 to be funded by way of developer contribution.
