To consider the report of the Strategy and Performance Manager.

The strategy sets out the values, principles, ways of working and priorities which will enable us to achieve our vision for children, young people and families in Stockport.

The Strategy and Performance Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the vision, the ambition and the inclusion of the strategy.

Maura Appleby (Principal Lead Integrated Services, Health) and Heidi Shaw (Principal Lead Integrated Services, Education & Inclusion) highlighted the following: -

·         The outcomes for the children and young people

·         The Stockport picture

·         The Impact of Covid-19

·         The ‘Early’ help including what it is  and the current system

·         The purpose of the Early Help Strategy 2020-2023

The Board welcomed the report and thanked Mayra Appleby and Heidi Shaw for their attendance.

RESOLVED – That the report and presentation be noted.
