The report summarises recent appeal decisions; lists current planning appeals and dates for local enquiries; informal hearings for planning appeals, and enforcement action by Area Committee area.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) summarising recent appeal decisions, listing current planning appeals and dates for local inquiries and informal hearings according to area committees.

 

It was reported that since the publication of the agenda, there had been a number of updates to the report as follows:-

 

·         The appeal at 250 Wellington Road South in relation to the imposition of conditions attached to the consent for the conversion of B1(a) office for seven dwellings had been dismissed.

·         A court date of 27 October 2020 had been set with regard to non-compliance with an enforcement notice served at 67 Earle Road, Bramhall.

·         The enforcement notice served at 300A Brinnington Road, Brinnington had now been complied with.

·         A new enforcement notice had been served at 10 Keswick Road, Heaton Chapel with regard to the erection of metal gates adjoining the highway which measure 1.8 metres in height without the benefit of planning permission.

·         A court date of 15 October 2020 had now been set with regard to non-compliance with an enforcement noticed served at 1 Tatton Close, Cheadle.

·         A stop notice had been served on 8 September 2020 on land at Wybersley hall, High Lane with regard to a material change of use for the importation, sorting, storage and disposal of coal planings.

 

An update was requested with regard to whether the Council had now obtained a warrant to enter the land at Unity Mills, Poleacre Lane, Woodley to permit the undertaking of a site visit to establish whether the replant notice had been complied with.
